SUP Teignmouth Beach to Torquay (Meadfoot) 13km

This is a 'next level' SUP adventure paddle that will be a challenge with a great sense of achievement on completion! Mostly flat water 13km paddle with so much to see, radical changes in geology and a proper headland to circumnavigate.

Understanding headlands and being able to paddle around them safely is a big step up for any coastal paddler.  The flow of water, winds, wildlife can all add to a fantastic headland paddle, if you know how to paddle it safely.

Starting at Teignmouth Beach, you will cross the mouth of the Teign estuary before heading South along the stunning Devon coast.  Paddling under the red cliffs before reaching Oddicombe and the red sandstone turns to the grey limestone.  The headland of Hopes Noses is one of tremendous water flow, wild life and standing waves.  Knowing when the 'windows' of safe passage are available is all part of the paddle experience.  Passing The Thatcher Rock before landing at Meadfoot Beach.

Taking approximately 4 hours (without stops) this is the great distance and time for an adventure paddle.  The paddle will focus on a fun adventure whilst exploring the coastline and understanding all the basic safety considerations.  

Bring your own paddle, board, leash and PFD or this can be provided for you, you just need your appropriate paddle clothing for the conditions.  Brendon will sort the logistics to get you back to Teignmouth.

50% (£200) of the paddle adventure must be paid for on booking, with the remaining 50% (£200) paid 5 days become paddle.  Once you have made the booking, Brendon will contact you for 3 dates to complete the adventure (both weekend and weekday dates available but weekends are very limited).
