Day Night SUPAdventure

Contact Brendon to discuss what you want from a day night SUPAdventure! Typically, this involves a full day paddle to a destination to camp over night, carrying all the kit required for a mini adventure.  This experience is totally flexible to your expectations. Not for the beginner paddler.  If you are competent in the basics and want to experience the world of adventure paddling, this is the next level.  If you are an advanced paddler, this experience will plug the gaps in knowledge and experience.

What are some of the elements covered in a SUPAdventure?

Developing Paddler

Paddle technique, understanding own ability, confidence paddling, swell, surf, downwind.

Adventure Paddling

Strength in the paddle, planning, understanding water movement, weather conditions, effects of land on water and weather, kit. Paddling with the marine environment, commercial ports, shipping lanes. Overnight Camping. Carrying and paddling with kit on a board.

Endurance Paddling

Adapting technique, food & hydration, focus and mental fortitude. Paddling the full tidal cycle.

TIME

• Day & Night 24 hr- 13:00 to 13:00 the next day 

DESTINATION

• Travel to Brendons home stretch of water in Torbay or he can travel to you*.

KIT, FOOD & HYDRATION

• Use your own kit or Brendon can provide boards, paddles, appropriate leash, pfd.  You are responsible for appropriate clothing and essential accessories. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD & HYDRATION OR BRENDON CAN ARRANGE, please speak with him to discuss options.
