The Board Room

The Board Room is an innovative multi purpose event space in Torquay, Devon, dedicated to promoting water sports, particularly stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and serving as a hub for the local water sports community. Designed with a SUP/ surf-inspired, chilled, and industrial vibe, the 5000 sq ft space features a Coffee, Deli, Retail, WorkSpace and PresentationSpace. It will host water safety education sessions through the charity Above Water for schools, adventure film screenings, and community talks, while also acting as the administrative centre for major SUP events like SUPTwelve and the SUPER Championships. Developed in collaboration with the charity Above Water, The Board Room aims to position the English Riviera as the Capital for SUP in Britain and water-based adventure sports, fostering both education and sports tourism.
