Junior Sprint standard £10 Entry

Event: The sprint event will be full of explosive action.  Starting from a pontoon 100m from the shore, your boards will be held by marshals.  On the start, you paddle to the finish line that is on the beach, once you hit the sand you must run to cross the finish line (this run will be approx. 5m)

Sprint Race Entry Information

The sprint Race includes multiple entry formats based on your board design. Please select the correct variant when registering:

• 14ft Hardboard- standard race boards only

• Under 14ft Hardboard- for all other hardboard sizes

• Inflatable (any size)- any size inflatable board

All categories will start together. Results will be ranked by gender and age group within each board design.

Please note:

• The 14ft Hardboard category is the fastest and most competitive. You must have a 14ft hardboard to enter this division.

• The Under 14ft and Inflatable categories are ideal for those newer to racing or using non-standard race boards.

ALL Junior events are FREE, enter via Junior Distance PaddleUK FREE

Proof of PaddleUK membership at registration must be given, without proof full entry price will be charged plus £10 administration.  Membership must be valid for event date.

Refunds: Due to the unpredictable nature of coastal weather and conditions, this event may be moved to different times within event day, moved to another day on the same weekend or even cancelled.  Health and safety of competitors/spectators/marshals/water safety crew is always paramount.  Due to expenses incurred, NO refunds or defer entry will be made.  If you are injured/unavailable prior to event date (not including 7 days before), you may transfer your entry to another paddler but this incurs a £5 donation to the charity Above Water and you must inform us via email.
